HHKB keyboard’s biggest problem

happy hacking keyboard keyboard also: open the keyboard up and apply lots of krytox 205g0 to the stabilizer wire, especially the ends. this has fixed my spacebar on my topre realforce r2 which had the same issue. should be plenty of guides out there on how to disassemble it

This is it! It went away with a lot of 205g0 inside the stablizer! Thank you!

This is an old video, but on all of mine, I lubed the heck out of the stabilizer wire like @shapeless8 did and helped the most. I also took out the spring, and the small circular rubber pads on the far left and right, and that helped even more with the sound. :)

It’s so weird. I have 3 HHKB’s. 2 of them had no spacebar tick stock. I lubed them, and they’re still great. Then I recently picked up a Pro Classic and the Spacebar clicks like a mofo.
