We are going through this RIGHT NOW 8/13/23. IT WILL GET BETTER!! We have been hospitalized since 9/9/22. We are now physically back to norm (when they said we wouldn't). We have been hospitalized in Il 8 months, MO 2 months, and now are in IN hospital. USE YOUR VOICE, DO YOUR RESEARCH, ASK QUESTIONS, BE THE VOICE FOR YOUR CHILD!! There is no playbook, each case is different, dont' let the dr.s tell you about YOUR CHILD!! We are now working on the neurological / psych part of our journey. THIS has been a very scarey and long part of our journey and we are still on our path but its almost over, its very scarey though, wouldn't want any one to go through this. SPEAK TO YOUR HIGHER POWER. Ask them to guide your family through this journey. Believe its already done , EVERYTHING will work out EXACTLY like its suppossed. I love you

This happened to my sister as well, when she awoke from the coma, she began a long healing journey and many new things to come- try to be patient, it’s very overwhelming to them because they do not have the capacity to deal with healing and understanding what they have been through- they just need to be told they are healing right now and you love them , and things and you will continue to be there for him .

My 4yr old daughter is going through this horrible disease right. I'm so scared she's not responding to steroid. Please anyone who's went through this How long has it taken for y'all started to see any signs of improvement I'm losing hope. Its been 2weeks my daughter has gotten worse she's not getting better

I am sorry that you have to be in the same case as ours, I can share more information pls reach out to me on my FB page Rosch Del Rosario, I can tell you more of what to expect, Momma it’s painful, but hang in there your daughter needs you to be strong to advocate for her, this is a long battle for us my son is still at the ICU and it’s his 3rd month already

@sucaadshardi9650. Hi momshie. Sad to know that you are going through this. Same situation po tayo. My daughter had this disease last year she was 14 years old that time. Napakasakit po as a mom na makita ang anak ko sa ganong situation. Hanggang ngayon po di pa rin ako maka get over sa nangyari sa kanya. Napakarami pa pong test na ipapagawa.May test po na kumuha pa ng fluid sa lumbar nya. Tapos dinala pa po sa America para matest kasi wala dito sa Pinas.15 days po namin hinintay 2 get the result. About steroid, 2 kinds of steroid po ibinigay sa anak ko. Yung pinakahuli was IV IG. More than 2 weeks po bago namin nakita yung result. Be patient po. May awa si Lord di nya po pababayaan ang anak nyo. Praying for your daughters fast recovery. Saka wag po kayo mahiya mag ask ng prayers sa lahat ng pamilya at mga kaibigan nyo napakalaking tulong po. Be strong momshie! Kinaya ko, kakayanin mo rin!

My sister was made to wait in the E R for a very long time, and then they sent her to a mental hospital bc of her behavior- the behavioral center told the hospital she was too critical , her temp was 107 and she then went into a coma for several months - she was pregnant during all this time and the baby would end up living agains all odds- My sister woke and lost short term memory , and is often emotional and afraid - She has lost smell and taste She has seizure All symptoms are getting better but stress of any kind triggers them and slow her healing - no matter what reassure him - keep a sense of routine , purpose , develops NEW normals , and celebrate right now - Remember that this is Right now , and things will be different in time - ❤also, Vanderbilt university has an excellent program for neuroscience- get to know neuroscience- It’s NOT bi- polar - or if it is, it was already there, and he can’t be diagnosed right now properly bc he is physically unwell - be careful with the drugs they try to give Him - focus on physical healing , occupational therapy and anything that can relax and ease him - don’t even speak bi Polar on his name
