I did the exact same thing for my stepdad. Best thing that ever happened to me was him. He bought a Chevy pick up when I was little sold it many years later to his paper boy when he grew up and went to Afghanistan, I bought the truck back, restored it gave it back to them for 73rd birthday. Best thing I ever did.

Awesome job! I'm gonna admit, I got a little teary eyed thinking about my dad and how he helped me growing up. He was not so much into cars, but he had a couple close friends that taught me a lot about them. Dad taught me his trade, he was an electrician, and I'm extremely thankful for that. Keep bringing the awesome content and your channel is going to grow far beyond your dreams.

I did the same for my dad. I grew up hearing stories about his 72 Maverick Grabber so i always had a spot in my heart for Ford Mavericks. 4 years ago i bought one for my self and fell in love i was 22. I restored it in 6 months. It broke my heart when i would catch my dad staring at it. So 2 years ago i bought him one. Im so glad i got it on video handing him those keys. Great job

My father past at 62 and I was 30 and I worked with him every day and he was literally my best friend , I grew up with him always talking about how he bought a brand new 64 1/2 mustang convertible one of the first out of the factory but after 3 weeks a drunk guy smashed into it on the way home from work and back in the early 60’s trying to match factory paint was impossible so he would always reminisce on that mustang and being a car guy my plans were to buy him the exact car when I could afford it but like the beginning of this post said he passed away very young so when I see people on social media doing good things for there parents or loved ones always gets me choked up with actual tears in my eyes and I am 52 lol 😂… I have to say you did a great thing for someone that did everything without expecting anything in return and that’s being a parent …. My favorite car in the world since the mid 80’s has been a 911 turbo so hopefully my kids one day show up with an all black turbo S hahaha 🤣 won’t happen but you never know lol
