The symbol on the armrest on the bench seat appears to be from a cutlass supreme. Not sure if ur dad said that. Nice work u two are doing.

How was your crank end play? And you did not put a mech. Fuel pump back in that car. It's probably the windage tray.

I think the seat is from a Cutlass Supreme. Hence the the CS emblem on center arm rest. Seat looks to have been recovered with the press pleat covers. I'm sure you guys have figgered this out, but is an excuse to tell youI enjoy watching da vidios

I've never seen a chevelle front seat like that I've had over a dozen chevelles and any of the bench seat cars I had did not have that arm rest in the center I don't even think it was a option.

You are correct! It is definitely out of a later cutlass.

It's starting to come together nicely. My Mother-in-law had a 1967 Malibu coupe, same color, aqua Marine blue, with a 283 /powerglide. Ran pretty good for the day.

I have a 65 convertible, 396 automatic . I put a lifta brand 4 inch lift for that 70s look . N 50s and f 78 s but the first 4 years of chevelles are my favorite.
@VicSwanby2 күн бұрын
That is definitely not a Chevelle front seat that is if I'm not mistaken a cuttles squire or the cuttles supreme flavor out of an Oldsmobile. But the cool thing about this car is the 66 GTO and One other car can be dash swapped and everything just bolts into the original factory spots. You will find lots of selective interchangeable parts that can be found for this beauty still to this day. Great job bringing this in My opinion the best looking Chevelle they ever made back to a road Worthy piece of rolling art for everyone to enjoy looking at! I'd enjoy seeing this one get completely sorted out with floors and headliner etc. I'm working on my 66 Chevelle Malibu and loving this content. You at HH Wheels have done well from this guy's perspective and I just enjoy your channel and all the content you cover. It was the first time I have been working on my Chevelle and watching a sister Chevelle on the tube. Had me smiling like a kid in an abandoned Toys-R-Us that is still stocked. I saw that seat and wanted to comment on your version. Back to work and the video. This is going to be a fun car for you guys to enjoy.

Nice car. I had a 66 chevelle when I was a kid. It was a true SS car. 396 cu in. To stop that sound and make your starter last you could put some shims on that. Just saying. If that was my car I would paint it a Maroon color and have black interior. Nice video. You two take care

I'm bought my first 66 SS 396 4speed Chevelle in 1984 for $175 running jack up to the moon with 50 cragars on the tail at age 15. Thirty years later my replacement 66 Is Chevelle was $7500,non running 6cyl , automatic,Front ,back, trunk pans shot.every panel with typical rust belt rust Pennsylvania.... Now he is TOTALLY RUST FREE!!!!
