The idea was this: get reps from major hi-fi companies gather in the same room, at the same time, for a podcast-style chat about their favouite products, competing brands, and the industry's future. We made it happen!
In this video, SoundStage! Australia's editor, Edgar Kramer, hosts Harman International's David Tovissi (Vice President & GM, Luxury Audio), Gryphon Audio Designs' Rune Skov (Global Sales Director), Nordost's Bjorn Bengtsson (International Sales, Engineering and R&D), Sound Gallery's John Ong (founder/owner), and Linn's Michael O'Rourke (Business Development Manager) to talk about all those things. We hope you enjoy it.

If you want younger buyers make starter products, PS Audio did a little amp called the Sprout which I think sold for 700 bucks. Follow these people and offer upgrades and buy backs. Burson Audio has also done this. Take a profit hit in short term and look at long term. Make them feel special and part of a club.

Agreed. There are many companies doing that and being successful at providing an entry point into hi-fi for young consumers who will later go on to buying products at different price points

Nordost offers cables at a variety of price points. Thousands of users, music lovers and audio enthusiasts, appreciate their neutrality and the accuracy with which they transfer signal, but if they're not for you, that's fine

@edgarkramer2236 Thanks to the placebo effect, confirmation bias and expectations bias.

@@mccririck01 That's always been a debate associated with cables. At the end of the day, you have your choice to make, as do people who have heard differences, and for whatever reasons.

@edgarkramer2236 The debate is over. It's psychological effects that make you think there's a difference. There's no reason for them to sound different a d the multitude if cable companies cannot explain why there would be a difference which should sound alarm bells for you. It's only in consumer audio that people think cables sound different. Have a think about that.
