Soundstage is not a crime! Despite what Resolve says, lol.

So excited to see couples review both Hadenys and Azurys. I have heard both at the shop. Yes, Hadenys definitely sound better. More spacious, detailed, almost as good as the big clear mg. However, to my ears, the Azurys also sound amazing. Not as good as Hadenys, but definitely not far behind, and fit more listening environments. Price wise, Azurys is absolutely a bargain in a hard beat. While Hadenys sound better than Azurys, to me it is not good enough to justify the price difference. If you love Bathys, Azurys is the steal. It is cheaper than Bathys, scale and sound a lot better than Bathys with a good amp or dap, a lot fun than Hadenys. Azurys becomes the portable king in my headphone collection currently. See if Focal will update the new Stellia with the similar design in the future.

When I first got into the hobby I wanted the purist representation of the music the way it was recorded. I was younger, I was foolish. Now my headset set up has a hybrid tube amplifier and a six band EQ with the bass turned up. (OMG am I a bass head?) with OG Ananda as my headphones. I like them but I am looking to upgrade and find a good pair of closed backs. I know I do like open and airy on top. I guess I like balance with exaggerated bass. Does that even make sense? Did you happen to try the Omega with EQ, the bass turned up?

really good closed backs cost a lot, you could try IEM's but not many of those sounds open enough, you could give a listen to ZMF Bokeh
