I heard today that 14 people perished from the hurricane, and I saw a video the other day of a home literally floating away and drowning in the water, how awful! I've never seen anything like that in my entire life! I hope there was nobody in the home at the time!

The bird doesn't seem worried about gas stations, just apples. Good idea to cut out the core of an apple before sharing w/ your parrot. The seeds contain amygdalin (a form of cyanide). Same is true for pitted fruits, like peaches. The fruits are fine, just not the seeds and cores.
