Ren had miss diagnosed lyme disease for 10 years which caused many many issues including psychosis auto immune disease and many more issues. This is a song from his personal experience. He was stuxk to his bed 23 hours a day for nearly 10 years but recently started the treatments to start helping his condition.

@@dieseldieseldieselfuel The estimate for the treatment was as short as 3 months, but after having the chance to actually be able to do testing, they found he was worse off than they'd hoped and currently they think he might be there for a full year.

It is good to see older people watching this, my daughter passed it on to me to watch. I am in my early 70s and I have listened to an awful lot of music over the decades, but Ren is the big deal, a great writer, musician, poet, singer, actor and an amazing performance artist.

1) Ren x Chinchilla, How To Be Me (Live) Is an amazing duet. The song is dedicated to his dear friend who tragically took his own life.The first two verses are written from his friend's perspective. Ren is a lyrical genius!

The main part is a metaphorical argument between his good intentions and his self-doubt. He plays both characters because they are both parts of him. The 'third voice' who says 'some people know me as hope" is meant to be his hope and strength returning after nearly being overcome by doubt. The spoken bit at the end is him.

Hello, it’s just one video, live btw. Every video has a different style. He really has gone trough all of the medical issues, he has Lyme but was misdiagnosed a couple of times and the other treatments made every thing worse, he spend 10 years of his young live in bed. Glad you liked it. A nother beautiful song is Ren and Chinchilla - how to be me, it’s about a friend of theres who committed suicide and they recorded it on the place he did it. He hase some lighter stuf also and he was in the band big push and they did “buskin”playing live on the street covering different songs. You just don’t know what to expect with Ren. He was misdiagnosed for many years about 7 to 10 somewhere in there. He did the treatments and had to suffer the consequences. Lenny finally got diagnosed with Lyme disease, did you see you soon already wreaked havoc on his body with irreversible damage.

Yes Ren does many different genres of music. His welsh accent is especially suited to reggae. There are a lot of busking videos with his band the big push that do not include rhythm and poetry however most of the solo work includes it. I’m not a rap fan but I am still amazed by this artist. I am 61 🌺🌺🌺 Chalk outlines x Chinchilla is only music. Try that one out. His voice is beautiful. Dear god might be one that you could check out. You might enjoy the bittersweet symphony retake also

Yes, I pray for Ren, and my prayers for you as well. When we reacted to this video, it was at the suggestion of another viewer. We had no idea who Ren was, nor did we have any idea of what the song was about. This song was so bizarre and unusual from the beginning, which immediately had us laughing at the sound of it. Then, when the dual personalities began to see to each other, there was more shocked reaction from us. Of course, as the song evolved, and especially as he tells his story, we realized the seriousness of this song and of his personal situation, our laughter turned to sadness for him. True, his situation is no laughing matter, but I am sure he was intentional with the unusual bizarreness of the music and the words from the beginning of the song.
