Saw them do this one live. Nai asked one side of the audience to sing "long, cat cat" and the other side to sing "he's the longest cat in the world." It worked out perfectly and was one of the funniest things I've seen all year.

So the premise of the song is that Longcat is the longest cat in the world, but Longcat is not even the longest cat on Bender’s bass.”

After listening to the entire album today, I don’t know why, but this is my favourite song in the entire album. The galactic ambience, the lyrics, the mixing. All of this makes this such a cool and relaxing song for its short duration, and Nai pretty much nailed the vocals for the cute, silly song! In short, this is the good stuff right here.

Couldn't disagree more. I think this album has a different tonal approach from their earlier stuff (more soulful and poppy? more raw in parts?), but Make Friends, Everything's Beautiful, Telescope, and Dimitri have some of the most addictive grooves in the band's history, and Cinnamon Temple and White Rabbit have them trying out a raw edge I didn't know I needed from them. Also Dimitri probably has my favorite Perrin drumming since Swamp Thing and Jekyll.
