Omg! After a month I just found out the last episode released on the same day I got laid off ... I always listened to this podcast in my office. Now they are all gone. 😭 I guess it was a sign for me to really move on to the next stage of my life. For the last year, I really enjoyed you guys. At first I was drawn by the Uncle Roger video. Then I discovered this podcast of Nigel and Evelyn. To me this is more enjoyable, for Nigel being funny, ridiculous, angry, mean and more real, and for Evelyn being sensitive, caring and warm. When I saw the title HIATUS I said they are going on a break. Maybe it's a busy week for them. Okay. Since I've got lots of things going on too right now maybe I'll finish listening to this episode next week so it would seem like they haven't gone on a break (my weekly routine is ironing my clothes on Tuesday night while listening to the podcast). So I've been very busy didn't have time to iron or listen to the podcast until now. And when I got to the part where they announced the haitus I stopped what I was doing, watched it carefully, read the comments then watched it again. I couldn't believe it! This is just so sad. been listening to the pod for a long time, but only started loving it after this July, which is when i started to live alone, without friends. before that i thought living alone is just another chapter of life, i was prepared and even looking forward to it. but covid vax stuff, job, basically everything is tough on me. a lot of unfortunate shit has happened, even today, i was doubting and questioning 'do i deserve this'. i started to understand why people would commit suicide. on weekends i'd still meet friends and be normal. but on weekdays, the job has basically killed my social life, this pod is prob my only source of laughter. im honestly grateful that i could listen to the pod and hang out with myself when feeling lonely. it's become part of my life and my company when doing cardio LOL. i like offensive jokes, i enjoy nigel's sense of humor, and it has helped me develop my sense of humor, which not many people can get. evelyn has brought balance to the pod. i just simply enjoy listening. i thought it's a pause when i saw HIATUS. it's a shame that it has to end. thank you guys for being there for me.

Hey hey! I have to agree with everyone here and say how sad and what a pitty it is because yes, for me too, it's been a tradition listening to you both on my daily workouts. I live on a Greek island so I listen to you and laugh while I walk past beaches in my sweats with my headphones on. I think that this show is pioneering and that stopping it would not be a great idea. People want to hear Nigel's side -the raw unfiltered side, but also Evelyn's side. The bickering, the "Nigeeeeeel" and the making fun of IS what makes it new and fresh. I like that you both take turns to be "bullied" and I like how you bring up hot topics. If you get into little fights, that's normal and what is expected. I'd add a third person to balance it out so there's less friction. It's one hour a week! It's can't be that bad. We expect a return! Btw my son loves the Uncle Roger videos (he's 8.5 and he's a future stand up in the making). PS Evelyn I'll miss your laugh and deep psychoanalysis and self deprecating talk...and YES it IS funny I agree. This podcast was brilliant. X
