I remember listening to this back in the day when it first came out. Idk how or where I ran into it, but I know I was a sophomore in college. It was ON REPEAT for a few years. It used to give me such comfort. I had forgotten about it in the last few years and accidentally ran into it on an old playlist of mine. I can confirm it still gives me the same kind of comfort, but now it’s mixed with nostalgia for that version of myself and those college days. Life passes by so quickly, and in some way, being back here today is a reminder to myself to make the most of every moment and every encounter. Nothing ever lasts. We will, inevitably, meet in the white light. In the dust cloud. Ghosts. A little sad, but also beautiful. Life is beautiful. I hope you live it to the fullest - today and every day. Whoever you are ❤ And to the artists who made this song: Thank you. It has meant a lot to me, and apparently, plenty others.

Discovered this 6-7 years back and still I get goosebumps every time I hear this song..I get such a unique melancholic vibe that is so pleasently haunting that I can't put it into words..This and River was one of the best discoveries back then. Thanks Hiatus & Shura.

Bury everything you own On a hill in Peckham Rye Say a prayer for those you've known As tracer fire scars the sky A heaven of abandoned stars River running black and red Fight your way through crowds and cars As rockets flower overhead Meet me in the dust cloud As The Towers topple over ground We can be ghosts now We don't ever have to make a sound Meet me in the white light As the city slowly lifts away We can be a ghost now With the memory of another day Meet me in the white light, in the white light now

Beautiful song. Brought tears to my eyes. The pattern of the music touched the emotional part of my brain. I forget the scientific definition, but I know certain patterns of sound can evoke emotion.

Every now and then, it helps to just let go of every stress and anxiety you have built up from your everyday life, take a few deep breaths and let the moment wash over you like a wave of tranquility. See beauty where there once was ugliness, see light where there once was darkness... This is that moment

Was driving across the Bay Bridge this morning and put this on, forgetting the lyric, forgetting what day it was. The pain of losing a close friend who was in the North Tower when it fell in 2001 came at me hard and hot. I lived in New York back then. The thought that she might have still been alive when it fell haunts me to this day. Meet me in the dust cloud As The Towers topple over ground We can be ghosts now We don't ever have to make a sound Meet me in the white light As the city slowly lifts away We can be a ghost now With the memory of another day
