I picked up a Hover 1 Boss 500 last September, take it on Amtrak, I use trains to travel mainly, freelance photographer and drone nut, Amtrak doesn’t charge a fee to bring it on like they do bikes, pedal bikes, which I still do but love the scooter. I’ve had no issues with mine, 3 modes, up to 20mph and 24 miles max distances, it’s foldable and under 50lbs, has cruise control, lights front and back everything controlled by Bluetooth via the app. It’s fun but I’ve been bitten by the speed and distance bug!

I had this Scooter and indeed had a respectable Brand Name.. i already use it for about a year here in KSA.. I use it in my daily work from my home and to my workplace vise versa.. i recharge it every 6 days with 10 kilometers per day used.. This thing is strong and stable to used.. there was one time i was thrown and fall by the tiny hole of the road with 30 kmph speed of impact.. Thanks to God i got only a little tiny scratches in my elbow.. and the Hiboy Scooters still intact just a little bit scratches on paint and still working fine with same speed.. I can testify that this scooters is so helpful in our daily transportation.. Thanks to this Brand.. i bought this thing in Amazon Prime with 580 U.S. Dollars promo price..

You mentioned while on the scooter that the left handle is for rear brake, and the right handle for front brake, can you reconfirm that that's the case please? I'm curious because on the Hiboy S2 Max model, there's only one brake handle, it's on the left and it controls the front brake.

You can turn off the speed limiter an make it do 35 to 38 mph. It won't let me post it.all the scooters have speed limit switch makes them go faster. Even your e bikes have it. I am looking for one to use on my wheelchair. You mount the front cross bar on the front of your wheelchair on it. An it will pull you around. But to price are so high for them. I'm trying to save money to hope to buy one. I live in the country an to get around on gravel is very hard to do. An by doing this will help me get around easyer. 700$ is a lot of money for one.

I am surprised that your test rider was wearing open-toed shoes. I have torn up the toes of my shoes riding a skateboard. Going twice the speed on an ebike could result in some painful road-rash.
