How To Train Your Dragon VS Big Hero 6. DreamWorks VS Disney (and Marvel, sorta). One of my most wanted movie fights of all time with 4 of my favourite animated movie characters. I tried making a "normal" Fan Made DEATH BATTLE Trailer for this matchup and I didn't like it, so instead I created somewhat of a successor to my longer Stitch VS Rocket Raccoon trailer. I hope you guys enjoy what I put together, it took a long time and I totally didn't cry as I was making it. I almost DON'T want this fight, because I don't want to see either of them die. But I can't deny that it's a perfect matchup.

Connections: -Hiccup and Hiro are both small, awkward, geeky, nerdy, teenage inventors who have created genius machines for their time periods (Hiccup created a bola shooting catapult called the Mangler / Hiro created a small bot fighter called the Megabot) -Toothless and Baymax are both large but cute & cuddly beings who serve as emotional support to Hiccup & Hiro in various circumstances and have devastating projectile attacks -Hiccup and Hiro both form a ragtag group of friends who have odd names with only one exception (Hiccup has Fishlegs, Snotlout, Ruffnut, Tuffnut and Astrid / Hiro has Gogo, Wasabi, Honey Lemon and Fred (conveniently, Tuffnut and Fred were both voiced by TJ Miller)) -Hiccup and Hiro both first met their best friends to be immediately after getting scolded by their only parent/guardian (Hiccup’s Father Stoick and Hiro’s Aunt Cass respectively) -when they met Toothless & Baymax, one of them was hurt and the other helped them (when Hiccup met Toothless, Toothless had a missing tail fin from being shot down by a bola, so Hiccup set him free and built him a prosthetic / when Hiro met Baymax, Hiro’s brother Tadashi had ripped duck tape off of Hiro’s arm causing him to say ow, which was the passcode to activate Baymax, who then treated him with an anti-bacterial spray) -both Hiccup and Hiro befriended Toothless and Baymax, and would later fly on their backs and go on many adventures afterwards, along with their friends who now all had their own Dragons/Special Gear (Astrid & Stormfly, Fishlegs & Meatlug, Snotlout & Hookfang and Ruffnut & Tuffnut & Barf & Belch / Gogo had Skate Discs, Wasabi had Laser Blades, Honey Lemon had a Chemical Purse, and Fred had a Fire Breathing Monster Suit) -during their test flight scenes, Hiccup and Hiro both suggest that they “take it slow” to start with, but they end up bumping into things, flying up towards the sky and then plummet to the ground after Toothless and Baymax misunderstood a command from their riders who were just panicking over something, they quickly solve the issue and save themselves before they hit the ground, they are able to have fun during the flights though as they skim over the ocean, dodge round obstacles, and at the end of their flights Hiccup and Hiro cheer with their arms in the air as they fly off into a blaze of glory (seriously, someone at Disney watched HTTYD and took notes, I swear) -both Hiccup and Hiro lost a family member after an explosive incident when they tried to save someone’s life (Hiccup’s Father Stoick died after saving Hiccup from a Plasma Blast / Hiro’s Brother Tadashi died after he rushed to save Professor Robert Callahan from a building which was on fire, but it exploded before he could find him) -Toothless and Baymax were at one point forced to become mindless killers against their will and were ordered to kill someone, but both of the intended targets fortunately survived due to outside interference, and both Hiccup and Hiro were upset and angry about the deaths of their family members at the time, and took it out on their friends (Toothless was mind controlled by Drago’s Bewilderbeast and ordered to kill Hiccup, but Stoick took the blast for him, dying in the process, and Hiccup got angry at Toothless for it even though it wasn’t his fault / Hiro learned that Professor Callahan left Tadashi to die in the fire, so he removed Baymax’s healthcare card, leaving only his combat one and ordered Baymax to kill Callahan, but the rest of Big Hero 6 stopped him and put the card back into Baymax, allowing Callahan to escape, so Hiro blamed the rest of his team in anger from learning the truth of his brother’s death) -Toothless and Baymax later gained the ability to prevent themselves from becoming that dangerous killer ever again (Toothless became the Alpha of Dragons / Baymax stopped Hiro from taking out his healthcare card again by scanning his emotional state) -they both saved Hiccup and Hiro by shielding them with their own bodies at the ends of their movies (Toothless shielded Hiccup from the Explosion that killed the Red Death / Baymax shielded Hiro from a piece of Krei-Tech debris that was floating around the portal dimension) -both duos were separated for a long time for their benefit but eventually reunited (Hiccup and Toothless separated because Berk would always be under threat as long as Dragons lived there, so Toothless led the Dragons to live in the Hidden World, but they both met again after they both had families of their own / Hiro and Baymax separated because they were both stuck in the portal dimension after the Krei-Tech debris damaged Baymax’s armour’s thrusters, so Baymax used a rocket fist to push Hiro and Abigail Callahan back through the portal before it exploded, leaving Baymax floating through the portal dimension, but Hiro later found out that Baymax had placed his healthcare card in the rocket fist’s palm so Hiro rebuilt him) -both How to Train Your Dragon and Big Hero 6 originated from books (albeit different kinds) before being made into animated movies with different stories being told (How to Train Your Dragon was originally a Novel Series / Big Hero 6 was originally a Comic Book Series by Marvel Comics) Contrasts: -Hiccup and Toothless are from the past and Hiro and Baymax are from the future (HTTYD is set in the year 1010 / BH6 is set in the year 2031) -Hiccup and Toothless have both had amputations and Baymax is made for healthcare and medical needs -Hiccup and Toothless are owned by Dreamworks and Hiro and Baymax are owned by Disney, Dreamworks and Disney are rival studios And there’s probably even more that I’ve missed since both have TV series but if I got into that, then we’d be here all day I was feeling rather depressed today, so to see this in my notifications was a blessing to me, this matchup is my number 1 most wanted fight in Death Battle, and this might just be the most beautiful fan made trailer I’ve seen for it, it may not be everyone’s cup of tea but to me it’s a nostalgia trip, great work bud P.S: Hiccup & Toothless FTW

@@Rage_Blocksyou’re not wrong, Baymax’s programming prevents him from harming living beings, more specifically his healthcare card, and Hiro cannot just remove it like he did in the movie for two reasons , 1: the second time Hiro tried that, Baymax prevented him from opening his access port because he could detect his intent to kill, and 2: even if he could, the karate card was lost in the portal dimension, and Hiro later created a new combat card which also stops him from harming living beings. So the way I see it is that the killing blow can only be dealt by Hiro.

Holy shit dude. I know you normally do the normal short trailers but in terms of these longer ones I say you're one of the best. Everything about this was perfect. Right now I'd lean towards Hiccup and Toothless but I don't mind either way. I love these series, and now I want this even more haha 👍👍

I don’t want either to die, but Baymax is more likely to lose because Hiro can rebuild him if the healthcare chip is not broken. If this becomes official, I’d prefer it if it were a friendly fight rather than a misunderstanding or hatred towards one another…

Yeah. That could be possible. Death Battle has made a few of their matches friendly fights. One good example of this is "Iron Fist vs Po" (Marvel vs Kung Fu Panda). I also wanna say that "Yoda vs King Mickey" (Star Wars vs Kingdom Hearts) was a friendly fight, but I'm not entirely sure.

I think hiccup and toothless would win. They have years of more combat experience than Hiro and Baymax do. Also when Hiccup isn’t with toothless he’s still capable of fighting on his own. I don’t know how much Hiro can do without Baymax.

Wasn't it implied that Baymax has to have that clip put in to actually kill organic beings like Hiccup and Toothless. And for people who say Hiro during the fight could put the clip in Baymax to allow him to kill. In the movie its not a quick process when Hiro did it. The villain wasn't attacking and I guess wouldn't attack. If their in a middle of a big fight I feel also Toothless could destroy the clip before he puts it in.
