Hickman Bridge, an Easy Hike to a Beautiful Natural Bridge in Capitol Reef NP

Since Capitol Reef is on the way to North Wash, Utah, we decided to make a quick stop there on one of our canyoneering trips to North Wash. With only a few hours to spare, the ranger that we met recommended the Hickman Bridge trail. Hickman Bridge is an iconic hike in Capitol Reef that leads you to an impressive natural bridge and beautiful desert landscapes. With only 1.8 miles round trip, the Hickman Bridge trail is also a great beginner and kid-friendly hike.

Ahhhhh, Yes I did it, I loved it in last Dec.21. I was in Death Valley for 10 days, wind blew me to Red Rock Canyon, then 50 mile wind with dark clouds on the western sky chased me down to Salton Sea where the temperature was perfect for me to explore the Ladder and Painted Canyon I been thinking about since year before last. Thank you, " I could do it again" I said after watching your video. I camped by the shore of the Salton Sea with sunset, quietness, and sound of waves made perfect sense after the hike.

It's been 30 years since I hiked this And the only thing I remembered Was those circular bridges Because I have a picture of me in there taken from above. I remember that I really liked this hike and now I know why. It is so very beautiful! ❤
