Hickory Golf in Scotland

I bought a set of hickory’s in August. So much fun and switch back and forth between modern set and hickory set. Surprisingly i score fairly decent with them if i move up to the forward tees. Can usually shoot 40 or less for 9 holes. You must swing smoothly

Always wondered about the weight of hickory clubs. How do they compare weight-wise with modern clubs?

Super light. No head control whatsoever hahah. Makes it much more of a rhythm hit

They come in all weights. Just try them.

Makes ya appreciate just how good the old boys were back in the day, bearing in mind the courses weren't as polished either. Personally love playing hickories, ruined me for playing the modern game.
