Ben Portsmouth is absolutely incredible and such a humble performer!! My father in law flew from Scotland to see Elvis in 1976 at the Hilton and Elvis handed him a blue scarf, we got to meet Ben and show him the scarf, My father in law who wasn’t a big fan of Elvis tribute acts was blown away by Ben as it gives fans nowadays a small glimpse what an Elvis concert was like. He even said to Ben some of his movements with the jumpsuit were so close to Elvis’s

Fantastic video, I saw Elvis Presley in person, in concert, at Cincinnati and Dayton ,Ohio, in 1972 and 77, and this guy absolutely is probably one of the best impersonators of Elvis Presley I've ever seen... he has the voice, the mannerisms, the moves, and the looks , absolutely AWESOME... Even the 1968 (?) show, in black leather outfit.. AWESOME ....

This was Ben’s peak, imo. And it was my first time watching/seeing a UE competition (2012). There were a lot of very good performers there, like Pete Storm, Jay Depuis, and Dwight Eicenhower, and Ben topped them.

I think Ben still is in his peak. His voice is getting better and so is the makeup which is beginning to make his appearance even closer to Elvis. The only tribute artist that, I believe, is out of his peak would probably be Shawn Klush. I think he just needs a break and he'll be alright.

@@eldritch6660 Yep! I too think Ben is the best. The first time I saw him was when I came across this 2012 contest. I could not believe how much he resembled Elvis. I could tell he adored Elvis and truly did his best to look and sound like him. To the best of his ability of course. The years have been good to him and I'm glad he didn't just wither away. I think I even enjoy him more now than ever.
