Still want HID because of the range of kelvin degrees available with each wattage ballast. 8000k 55w blue is just not available in the LED range of sizes vs HID's vast bulb style selections. That blue adds more contrast out on the road at night.

I would go with the L.E.D. lights for the simple reason that the hid lights have to warm up. Witch would lead to the saftey issue when you flash the lights!
