Lovely! As a sea kayak camper I must admit that I'd have been a little worried all night about the boat staying in place all night. With sea kayaks you secure your boat by dragging it up high onto the beach before each night of camping. That's not an option with a much heavier motor boat, though it seems you secured it pretty well even if the wind rose in the night. You know what you're doing. I love watching bushcrafters videos like yours.

@careenaalexis Жыл бұрын
Thank you so much! So glad you enjoyed it! I am actually in the process of switching to Garmin inReach, I had the SPOT and it just is terrible for the northern regions of Ontario, probably fine in southern Ontario but it completely let me down in Algonquin Park, and now it actually just won't charge or turn on for no apparent reason. Definitely going with Garmin next.

$1,349.00 for a solar charger....yikes. loved the ax though, Congratulations on finding a secluded place. I say that because here in Georgia on the Appalachian trail, seclusion on these mountain trails is a thing of the past. I topped Springer mountain and camped a few days and it was like a city park. It's been 5 years since I had been there and the magic is gone. ☹
