Lots of memories there for me. The first time i played Flight Simulator, it was'nt licenced by microsoft yet. I bought it from Sub-Logic, A BAO (Bruce Artwick oganisation) substituary, Before they sold it to Microsoft. And i played it on an Apple IIc, From a floppy disk containing 512 Kb per side or 1.44 Mb. Yes a full flight sim on 1.44 Mb. as you will see it covered only a very low resolution of Chicago. But it was challenging. FYI: The BGL files in Microsoft flight simulator, means Bruce Graphic Language, from the author Bruce Artwick.

It could be in VR and you be able to walk into a room somewhere or aircraft with a PC setup and play MSFS2020 on the PC, maybe even go to the shop, buy the parts and build a PC to play MSFS2020 on?

Unfortunately when I select the ELT to "On," nothing happens... I verified Flightsim 40th Anv. is installed. Is there a specific setting I'm missing?

solved: you have to play the Meigs mission (cessna) from the update before - then you can select it on the world map.
