Hidden Falls.. Hybrids and Largemouth Bass

today I wanted to go try and catch a big blue cat at Sansom Park.. I failed :( I did manage to land a big Hybrid and a few bass though. Hope you enjoy!

Hey man, I’ve fished there many times it’s not too far from my house. So you park at the Marion Samson park parking lot and follow the trail down hill. No matter what trail you take if you go down you will end up at the bottom by the dam and falls. On a scale from 1-10 (10 being difficult) I would rate the hike at about a 6-7. Definitely don’t want to hike with too much gear it’s pretty steep and can be exhausting. Enjoy and good luck!

You caught some nice fish. Many people like eating carp, gar, freshwater drum,. People with low income or many people will be happy to take any of those so called trash fish off your hands. To them it is supper.

NTX Bank Fishing that hybrid came all the way down the river 40 miles from lake Bridgeport because they don't stock them in Worth or eagle mountain lake . Probably from the flooding of June 2016

Hey I assume I know exactly where this is, as for hybrids tho, what would you recommend using? I moved from MI and have never caught one, and have yet to even fish down here (depressing, I know). Hoping to get out in a few weeks
