we are back! We had been boycotting YT for a while due to them limiting our reach. We have been posting videos on facebook for over a year but will be moving some of those over here. After thinking about it we wanted out people here to be able to watch for those not on Facebook.

I see Nellie Norton who grew up in Savanah Georgia. She married G. F. Warmsley in June of 1898. Her parents were Mr. & Mrs. J. W. Norton. I got this info from Chronicling America. I’ll check some other sources too.

Are you sure it's uncaring, or there is no connection to family members? Lives are not tied to the land or a lifetime job anymore. Families move more often. It's hard to maintain connections in the world we live in today even though we have all manner of communication toys.

I love Goodwill's website. I found a charcoal rubbing of an Egyptian tile, which the tile is from around 923 BC! It is in The Met in New York, having been acquired by the museum in 1907. The rubbing looks like it's been done on linen with an actual piece of charcoal, and I figure it's had to have been done while being catalogued. It is signed, but I've yet to figure the signature out.
