Many makeup gurus started using facial blades back in 2019. I got them since and use them once a week. I haven't turned into a man, don't worry. They save so much time and are painless and satisfying to use.

Unless you have some serious hormonal changes or your face hair is naturally thicker because of your hair type, women's face hair DOES NOT turn thicker from dermaplaining, and no, it's not the same as shaving with a regular razor for your body hair. The uniblade (if you do it correctly) actually helps to exfoliate and promotes skin turn out, it looks healthier and younger.

Yeah, as a woman I'm not about to shave my face to get a little extra "glow".

You really shouldn’t use those. You have whiskers on your chin like a man. All you’re doing when you shave with those is promoting more hair growth. Shame on whoever said these were ok for women’s faces.

@@user-jz6ix1dw1v It promotes hair growth.. you micro damage the skin and that leads to the body repairing it and fueling it with minerals.. the minerals let the folicals grow. But if you cut your hair that’s bullshit.. you have to damage the skin to promote growth.. so the common saying is wrong. Sorry English is not my first language.

@@user-jz6ix1dw1von some women it does cause thicker darker regrowth. I think it's one of those things where, on some women it's fine, and the fuzz just grows back pale and they don't get break outs. But for others the hair will grow back darker. Also because the hair was initially so fine it struggles to push back through and can cause spots and ingrown hair. It's a bit of a try it and find out situation. Though form personal experience. DO NOT DO IT! 😂😢

There is absolutely no evidence that dermaplaning affects hair color and thickness. If you experience either of those things, get your hormones checked, and don't blame the razor.
