She’s absolutely phenomenal at describing each perfume. I just love it. She’s an absolute gem. And like someone else commented, I love that we’re hearing about fragrances that aren’t being talked about elsewhere. So glad I’m subbed. X

I'm KICKING MYSELF RN bc I just bought more perfumes but I'm absolutely obsessed with the way that Lover by The Maker, Musc Moschus, and Rose D'Encens sound! Love your content bc I feel like perfumes are expressive in a way that clothes and accessories aren't, which is so cool

SCENTS OF WOOD NEEDS MORE HYPE!! I recently tried Plum in Cognac (if you haven't smelled it, this is my plea to see it featured in a future video!) and it's so stunningly gorgeous that I'm hoarding my little sample like Gollum with The Ring. The plum is so sophisticated and intoxicating, the wood notes are perfectly balanced, and the rum and cinnamon come together for the best boozy-but-not-sloppy cheekiness that keeps me absolutely addicted. It has a soft brown leather jacket note from the labdanum that really grounds the plum and makes it comforting and cozy. And just a hint of vanilla to keep things leaning sweet, but not too sweet. It's perfectly unisex and it lasts for hours. I love a single light spray on my chest before bed, just a hug of scent that is still there when I wake up. I would love to know your thoughts if you have it, or if you pick it up in the future. Fantastic video, keep these coming! I really enjoy reviews that highlight lesser known houses and scents, let's get the word out and hype those hidden gems!

Just discovered your channel and now I'm on a marathon of your videos. 😅 I love how you describe the fragrances, there's something so different and refreshing about it in contrast to the more 'mainstream' channels that are beginning to sound repetitive to me. And many of these brands/houses I just heard for the first time, wow. A lot of new discoveries from just a single video. 🖤

Hi Olivia, Hoping you will do a tutorial on finding your signature scent. I have gotten some friends into perfume via my passion for it, but I know my likes like I know my color pallette. I see a person needing a cold weather and warm weather scent wardrobe with the signature scent being their body shape, bra size etc. In my humble opinion, the spicy, seasonal, date fragrances all have to agree with the aesthetic of the signature, so finding that scent is the foundation for a collection. Can you suggest a number of possible signature scents? How you found yours? How you know you have found it? How to find a signature without spending major cash? Should a signature be appropriate in all weather? What if you live in the arctic or the tropics? Could an Alaskan wear Khamrah and a Floridian Sol De Janiero? What is the purpose of a signature? I think a perfume wearer needs a signature, a seasonal (aquatic/spicy), gourmand, and floral for each season. Your thoughts? Totally loving your channel. You are my fragrance fairy godmother

I'm wearing ELDO She was an Anomaly today and I think it's would fit perfection this list. And I don't know why but it seems to do really well in cold weather for a skin scent. I love the combination of sweetness and clean that's not cloying to my nose at all. And I just keep catching whiffs of it and I am in love.

Literally just got a bottle of Divin Enfant delivered today! It was a blind buy but I was pretty confident that I'd love it (and I do). The leather note is similar to the one in Kelly Caleche, but I like it more with the creamy floral sweetness than with the Hermes' sharp citrus.

This is SUCH a good question! I'd love to know too. A college prof had a diffuser that smelled like Fruit Loops. He was one of the coolest profs, he was an amazing teacher, and was even more awesome during his office hours, and the fruit loop smell was more incentive to go. I never had the courage to ask what it was (even though he was really chill and probably would have told me). It's always been in the back of my head though.

I appreciate your explanation of fig. I do have to comment that when the masses hear "fig" it's almost like a click word that people say they love without really knowing what fig scents smell like. Personally I am not a fan of fig scents. I find it off putting very vague powdery that is so light there's almost a emptyness, nothingness to it that to me, it's blah, bland no depth yet still like, that's it? That's all it is? Over rated note that never warrants the price tag.
@Carolynsweetheart Жыл бұрын
Oh boy, I appreciate you but the notes you seem to like aren't my taste. Oh no with the iris, violets. Powdery nothing that I find boring and wastes of money. To pay these prices, the fragrance should command, otherwise, just get some BBW body spray with those same notes. Ugghh
