This was a very informative interview. I watched it all the way through to the end! Dr. Vilet seemed unbiased in his responses and I liked the point he made about animals not overeating once satisfied. It seems like common sense, but if you're not eating nutrient rich foods, then you're less likely to stop eating... I eat red meat in moderation and supplement choline and collagen to balance out my plant based diet.

The cheese over here and it doesn't matter if it is Gouda or Edammer or another cheese in the Netherlands it is always made from raw milk and you can not heated it higher then 40 degrees celsius to put the milk acid in it, with 33 degrees celsius you put in the renet. Our yoghurt is also made from raw milk and it not that thin stuff. It is thick fat and it stays on the spoon when you turn the spoon upside down. Over here we drink raw milk and one store in my town has a section where the milk stands with bottle with raw milk. But with all normal food in Europe most of the additives what they put in food in the US is banned over here and forbidden to use because it is toxic and cancer causing. Overweight isn't normal over here .

It's not only about additives or raw vs. pasteurized milk. Here in the EU, we have "advanced" dairy farms where cows rarely see growing grass. If they do, it's usually a monoculture grass. Perhaps in the Alps, where cows graze in the mountains, they can access more biodiverse pastures that enrich the milk with phytochemicals. However, The Netherlands, with its modern farming and Holsteins, is not a good example of producing nutritious milk.

Spend more on healthy food and less on medical expenses.

Eat real food, primarily meat. I eat ingredients, seperately. That’s whole food. Simple. After a while, you stop even looking at junk as food. Food does not have an ingredient list.

having benefits for who? Those who eat standard diet and already have inflammation? And in the lab animals, what food did the additives substitute? I wish he would go deeper. For instance, take any carnivore, who is eating a natural carnivore diet, and give Them the additives and see if there is an improvement. Yes, fruits ( maybe ) and vegetables are healthier than bagels and candy bars.
