Shalom from Brazil! Baruch Hashem today we see a lot of people being aware of their heritage. I formally converted to judaism a few years ago. My rabbi asked me to get my mom lighting candles as that was our customs(amongst other dozens) at home. Jews had for the most part, enjoyed living in Spain, for at least 700 hundred years. Side note: Portugal was part of Spain until it separated from Spain in 1143.

Please, "reporters" do some homework about the Christians and catholics...Christians do not bow to a pope, bishop or other "men."
