@@renayeblack5906do you know what the word ‘excellent’ even means? It was terrible. They investigated nothing. How was she killed? Who were the initial suspects? How did the husband react? What leads did police have? Why did it take nearly three years to find her body? Why did it take that long to charge the husband? What is this “wife swap” that the nephew mentioned? Who are the other people involved in the “wife swap?” Why did the nephew originally think she killed herself? How was she “acting different” in the days before she disappeared? I mean…they answered, nor even discussed, literally NONE of these things!

My understanding of the law is you cannot tell your lawyer yeah I murdered her a d then have him go to cpurt to plead not guilty. @@latinaalma1947 I'm a legal assistant in Canada and that is not true. I know in the US and in Canada it is actually a lawyer's duty to ensure a client's confidentiality unless a client discloses future plans to commit a crime. So if you go to a lawyer and tell him you killed your wife, he can choose to not defend you but he can't go call the police to tell them you confessed. Now if you say your wife is alive and you plan to kill her, he should report that.

What that Lawyer did was what Defense Attorneys do. He was just trying to sell a narrative and defense that she likely left to build a new life. I know it seems that what he did was wrong but if you are ever accused of a crime of this sort, you would want your defense attorney to do the same sort of thing. Like them or not in such cases as this, Defense Attorneys play their vital role as our Founding Fathers set up in our adversarial criminal justice system. Strong women so frequently become victims of domestic violence! If women speak their mind or are strong and confident so many people resent them
@junglekutz56252 ай бұрын
There’s no such thing as “strong women.” But there are women who speak their mind, know how and when to express themselves in ways that align with their emotions (as in how they genuinely feel)……..and will do so time and time and time again. Doesn’t matter who they’re dealing with. There are also women that have no problem working for what they want (and depending on the woman, she will go about doing what she has no problem doing, in order to succeed/accomplish her interest). What usually happens when folk that are unlike these type of women cross paths with them (doesn’t matter if it’s male or female)……and who they are at the core doesn’t resonate with what they see. They will always aim to give them a difficult time. As they have a need to break and destroy whatever supposedly intimidates them. …..and if they can’t break or destroy them, they will make it their business to be a thorn in their side, while depriving them of what they need/they think they need.
