If you guys ever decide to get rid of/sell those World War II books I will totally buy them from you. My son is 15 and loves learning all about the wars. But WWII is his favorite my Grandfather served in he Marine Corps during WWII so it’s been fun learning together. On a side note this was an amazing unit you bought. This is so exciting watching you guys find all these amazing pieces of history they collected 💜

OMG! Those crystal trees are to die for!
@MaryB-ps8lg4 жыл бұрын
Those crystal trees are called "money trees". When you shake them, it is supposed to bring money and good luck.
@shinykazzadragon4 жыл бұрын
Yes - some people call them that. Ive seen amber trees that are called luck trees. Ive also known people who make them, and say that different crystals have different meanings - like rose quartz is supposed to mean love. Amethyst is supposed to be clarity, and help diminish hangovers. It depends on the intent of the maker and owner.

So many items that I haven't seen before like skateboards with a handle, and the old gas can, it amazes me the variety of things stored in a unit. The picture of the cowboy was a wonderful sketch, I wish I could do that as it's a wonderful talent. I also liked the old radio, it's in great condition but most of the items in the unit are in good shape. Time for bed so goodnight and God bless you all love and hugs to you and George Mary-Ellen UK

You have made your money back for sure. You nave come nice tools, collectibles, book lots. And of course the items in the safe. By the way Brazil is in South America, not Africa. If the freezer works and can be cleaned up, supposedly they are selling pretty good now.
@leemori77414 жыл бұрын
Hi Jeremy, good day. The one you find, that crystal tree.. is a chinese money tree, jade crystal, if original and mostly expensive too. It's a kind of a lucky tree.

The wooden thing with the marble in it is a dish towel holder. You just run the edge of your towel inside, where the marble is and it will hold your tea towel securely. When you want to use the towel, you just gently pull it out from the top. My dad made me one for our fifth wheel RV and it worked like a charm. I stuck it to the end of the cupboards.

You have to remember that gold & silver is measured in Troy ounces not a regular ounce. Troy ounces is =31.103 grams. A regular ounces is = 28.349 grams
@charlesyoung74364 жыл бұрын
And there are only 12 ounces in a Troy pound, which is equal to about 14 Avoirdupois ounces.

I love the WWII books. My grandfather was left for dead at the Battle of the Bulge. It was on that same battlefield, he reached for the Lord and accepted Christ. One of his men heard him moan. MAC, was blown up by a bomb, and almost half of his body was gone. He was stitched back together, but lost an eye, his hearing, and the use of his left hand. We lost him in 2007... even though he was told he wouldn't make it. He was literally the boogie woogie bugle boy of company b.

Actually precious metals are weighed by the Troy ounce which is 14oz per pound and not the normal 16 ounces.
