I lost a baby. And my ex husband wouldn't give me her handprints I only wanted half cause we had imprints of both hands and feet. he knew that was the only way he could hurt me. I even offered him my car for them. He wouldn't give me them. But two years later he cheated on his girlfriend and she brought everything that had to do with my baby girl to me and I finally got them. I don't think he ever realized even to this day. I just wanted say that I hope you know what a wonderful,amazing thing you have done! God bless you!

Your family is so wonderful! I have been married to my husband 41 years. We have 7 children and 17 grandchildren. We were going through hard times about 30 something years ago, and we put our whole lives in a storage unit. Well we paid on it for a year or two, and then we lost it. Wow! This beautiful! Thank you for your reStorage The Love initiative! My sister lost a unit years ago and the buyer was kind enough to give us back all of family pictures. One was in an antique frame but the picture would have been destroyed if it was removed, so he did accept $60 for the that one. This meant the world to our family. I am so happy for the joy you restored to the former owner. When she said, "I thought you were a joke.", that just spoke so highly of your genorosity. God bless you!

How amazing that you did this for this lady. I can tell you from experience that those like things that we have from our children are the most important treasures on this earth. Ive lost 2 children, A daughter 4 yrs old to an accident in 85 , and this April 2020 my oldest son 42 took his own life from PTSD, he was A veteran His wife doesn’t want to part with anything, so I have very little to remember him by and touch. This is so heart warming . I know first hand what it’s like to lose a locker with my sons stuff in it . He had pass in 2014 and by 2015 I had everything in storage trying To stay afloat. And I lost it all I have searched and asked ppl If they bought my stuff I just want my sons memories back . But till this day still empty handed . This is really beautiful. When I lost my daughter Sarra (we also lost my father in law) we needed to switch homes (Sarra passed at home) we put everything in storage and went on vacation (camping to get away) then we moved in with family. We ended up getting divorced and my husband and l both thought the other one took care of storage bill. We lost all our photos of our little girl and my childhood photos as well. Yesterday,November 20th would have been my Dads’ 97th birthday. He passed almost one month after his 91st birthday of congestive heart failure at my sisters’ home. Wow!! I wish that there were more people like you in this world!! My children and I were forced out of the place we shared with there dad. We had to put all of our stuff in store including all of our family photos and my moms ashes n other important items. We even had to move almost 200 mile away from our belongings and we are close to losing everything cuz I cant afford to keep paying for it every month or even get it to where we are at now. We need more people like you!!! We need people to have compassion n not just throw away family photos. Unless absolutely necessary.
