I remember growing up seeing Miss Lester in commercials, movies and TV shows. She gave a memorable performance as the ill-fated cabbie in the movie Blacula. She was very scary as a vampire. She also played a former girlfriend of Lamont on Sanford & Son. Another talented performer who should have gotten the recognition she deserved. God bless you, Miss Lester. Keep on keepin' on. 🎶

I am such a huge fan of hers, white gay dude from the UK, haha. She is utterly beautiful and that voice! I was mesmerised by 'Love Letters' the first time I heard the late pianist Beegie Adair perform it and ended up discovering Ketty on KZbin. It soon dawned on me that I'd grown up watching her on Little House On The Prarie! What a versatile and ridiculously talented trail-blazer. I know this is very shallow of me, but I can't believe she still looks THIS GOOD ! Her bone structure, her lack of wrinkles or fat. Sure, she has white hair... but some hair dye and some mascara and I imagine she'd look like she was in her 50s. Anyway, I am so grateful to THV11 for uploading this. Until a few years ago, there was very little of Ketty on KZbin - this recent video of her has made my day!

A fabulous story and what a beautiful woman and gifted singer. My Uncle Stan had Ms Lester's song Love Letters played at his funeral in Brisbane, Australia a few years back and I remembered it playing on the local radio.
