tenderloin n excelsior are rough / dangerous Neighborhoods?..lol..Give me a break...There wayyyyy worse places than that. honestly in my time there I never felt unsafe or as if I was in the ghetto. Its a normal working class Neighborhood.. sure there's Sketchy ppl and bums here n there but you see that in every part of a major city.. I guess in a city of millionaires that's considered rough. great content , love the photographers work. love SF. keep grinding.

lol the tenderloin may not be "the worst" but it's one of the roughest/grimiest neighborhoods on the west coast. The excelsior isn't as bad and has way more middle class people, but it is rough at times too (by anyone's standards...it's the kind of place where you sometimes hear gunfire and someone ends up dead in the street, often over gang shit). SF also has some of the worst projects in the nation, so its not like there's a shortage of truly bad areas in the city. SF has a higher violent crime rate than average and is one of the worst for a big west coast city (Oakland is usually the worst), for the record. One of the worst in the nation for property crime too. Also, city of millionaires? Yeah there's rich people, but most SF residents aren't rich (rent control, public housing, SROs = lots of middle class and poor people). The tenderloin in particular is poor as fuck just saying...SF is rougher than a lot of people realize, even now with all the gentrification. Though that might not last much longer

Every neighborhood is unsafe shit happens everywhere & anywhere You must have felt safe due to not being down or involved with rough things going on in Excelsior or maybe you didn't go out much but best believe it, sweetie rough shit happened I lived it we lost a lot of loved ones You must not be a real Frisco native if you do not consider these neighborhoods rough spend 1 night in the Tenderloin I'm sure your opinion will change real quick Plus not every1 in S.F. is a techie/hipster millionaire........
