If you sync cast, your casting will start at the same progression as the pawns. This means you can insta cast a spell who passed its 1st cast bar... and do it again, so long as you have stamina.

Mage, mystic knight

Mystic Knight has a larger parry window and Mage (may) have better healing from curatives. these arent in the video because they where never confirmed.

Here's what I've discovered Mystic Knight has a greater window for shield parries and perfect parries, I'd say about 50% greater. Mystic Archers seem to have slightly higher resistance to debilitations and seem to recover from them faster too, but it seems to vary another depending on the debilitation you get hit with. Assassins seem to have higher damage from surprise attacks even without augments. Rangers have a higher chance to inflict debilitations with specialty arrows, considerably so, I'd say almost double the chance of other archers. Makes are tricky, I think they have slightly better elemental resistances, but I'm not certain. I don't play mages much.

I usually play as a Magic Archer & Vortex & Flameshroud are my go-to's! I used to look upon Vortex in disdain until I actually tried it one time. I now use it for all sorts of instances. For one, if you cast it after you kill something you can move it out of the way so you can see and access the loot drops easier. It works on most monsters except Dragons and Hydras. Another use for it is with Living Armor and Eliminators as they can come at you so fast that you die before you have a chance to fight. Cast Vortex in front of them, trap them, and then destroy them at your leisure, usually with Ninefold Bolt Flameshroud, kills most monsters, many without striking a blow. Even many dragons fall to this and it works wonders on Maneaters.

i love vortex trail! packing hordes of small enemies together and then get them with a single aoe attack is awesome!

The first time I experienced spell sync I was casting high maelstrom and two of my pawns had it as well but didn't hop on until the end so I didn't see them do it and having just got the spell and was doing testing on it I thought it was supposed to have 3 funnels. Didn't know spell sync was a thing until about 2 years later

Well, no wonder Assassin has been a breezy class. I love both the strider and Assassin but I've been partial to Assassin for the lycan sight ability. Strider has downward flurry, master thief, and shriek pierce which really are impressive in my playthroughs. Yet as a Asssassin, I'm not playing for "edgy", I'm playing for comfort. Keeping far distance from my enemies and unintentionally acting as team healer/necromancer for the pawns 😆

in terms of hidden skills. he doesn't really have one. but the magic bow doesn't lose damage on range like normal bows. so that's something.

Awesome to see dragon's dogma content in my recommended, even better from 1 day ago. I recently got a 3070 laptop and I've been thinking of downloading some texture pack mods and enbs to make the game look even better. Though vanilla visuals are still amazing in my eyes.

you don’t need much to make DDDA look awesome. in fact i went back and play without graphic mods again and just tweak contrast and saturation.

Now... something scary. It's possible that certain vocations can have abilties that are unobtainable with testing. For example, mage could have an ability that make his curative magic stick longer... but, it's the only vocation that has access to curative spells and so you can't find it out with testing and it would require digging in game code. Anyway, i feel like mystic knight has augument that makes perfect blocks easier.

Mage vocation has innate holy resistance. In other words, mages receive less damage from holy attacks. Mystic knight has bigger parry/perfect block window. Magic archer has an innate, toned-down (smaller efficacy) Intervention augment. Ranger uses less specialty arrows to debilitate. In other words, rangers are more efficient in debilitating enemies.

I think MA retains skull splitter..becuase I have thousand kiss, cutting wind and magic balancer..But I can still Jump and stab the daggers into the ground or cause damage to enemies. It's weird sometimes..it'll also do multiple round kick instead of the end of the animation of thousands kiss. In MK..I'll jump between 2 surian or goblins. (if you use a mac type weapon) when mid air...The mac will swing below my feet and rattle their heads.lmao it's not a skill..its just something you can do. Fighting golem are a sort of a pain becuase the CAMERA. Just gooffing around..I can JUMP from different place of the body or from one golem to another.lmao

You have named the 2 attacks such as thousand kiss and cutting wind is what I would use as magick archer, assassin, ranger, and/or archer. So if your vocation is magick archer, just add immolation as one of your skill set. That way, you kill golems more faster. Or if you climb on cockatrice, they have hard time escaping due to the flames. Using immolation on your arisen is like making your arisen walking in super saiyan mode from Dragonballz. Golems will be weak against immolation and then those camera angle won't be an issue. If you use immolation, enemies attacking your blind spot won't be an issue. So you can use immolation can be combined with thousand kiss. If you applied that to Grigori, you can be immune to grapple and then you would already overkill Grigori with thousand kiss along with immolation.
