Here is a tip if you unequip both hands you can parry with your hands so a parrying shield isnt required which could have made iudex gundyr alot easier

Actually no, because I'd have to charge the storm ruler back up, making it functionally useless. I know about no handed parrying, i did it in my very first run on this channel, I just cant, without it being useless.

modding a ps4 is kinda sketchy but possible. I have something you might want to do some research about I remember it being very easy around the time bloodborne launched, so maybe they made it impossible or very hard, but we could easily edit our save files to sneak in soms itens. Ot was mostly used to check "NPC only" itens but you definitely could give yourself anything all you needed was a PC program that let you edit a ps4 save file, so you'd make a backup save on a external drive, edit it on your pc and then putting it back in the console (definitely "ilegal" and totally cheating, but safer than modding the whole console.)
