Hidden Southern African History: When Mzilikazi Assassinated The Pharaoh

In mid-1838, Mzilikazi is credited with leading the destruction of a Kingdom that was left to become a footnote in history.
Mzilikazi was instructed by Robert Moffat to instruct his trusted Induna to lead a horde of women and children including Mzilikazi's teenage heir to a specific location in modern day Zimbabwe, trouble is, this location was within the boundaries of the oldest Kingdom in Southern Africa.
According to the fragmented narrative, the Ndebele arrived and that was it.
But that wasn't it.
This region was within the Proto-Bantu Kingdom, that was almost two thousand years old that tied Southern Africa to Ancient Egypt.
After the attack, Mzilikazi ensured no one talked about this atrocity hoping it would forgotten with time. As for Robert Moffat, he never named these people, only reported the story as a tragic footnote in history.
Emill Holub's detailed writing helped piece together what Mzilikazi and Moffat did.

No she means Mzilikazi killed the descendant of ancient Kemet, who moved South when Egypt/Kemet was invaded. Not that Mzilikazi went to Egypt as by then the the old Egypt was long gone and its descendants had long spread across Africa (Southern Africa being one).

Wasn’t Mzilikazi a Mosotho? I read many references that he was a Mokokolo - who were the baSotho people. Makes sense as I also read he sold baSotho as slaves at some point. Another thing, Ntate is a Sesotho word for father, Setswana uses “Rra” or “Rre”. Sesotho is very close to the Setswana language, but it’s not one and the same thing, neither are the baSotho and Batswana people. There were baSotho people residing in today KZN, which would explain the presence of the people that side. Many people identify as Matebele today. This tells us the war was more complicated than history tells, as the very baSotho and Batswana today identify as such. Wonderful history. I’m definitely a subscriber.

You are right, there is so much that was simplified, that we need to unpack to fully understand what exactly happened, who funded these warlords because they seem to have come from the same region. UShaka's court was interesting with his White Chiefs and Xhosa Induna who had served for the British at some point, Dingiswayo and his rumored exile at the Cape Colony and also UShaka was trying to settle in England if he was usurped, so he felt secure enough that the British would protect him. You do realize that the Zulus walked anywhere at that time? They didn't have any mode of transportation like horses or carts. And walking from Southern Africa to Northern Africa would've been a very dangerous journey itself. There was a lot of kingdoms in between who wouldn't have taken kindly to a foreign army coming close or passing by their lands. Meaning Mzilikazi would've waged war & presumably defeated every kingdom on his way to North Africa. Which itself was impossible. Not to mention that it would've taken him decades to get there.

There was a Pharaoh at Khami in what later became Matebeleland because the Zimbabwe Stone ruins were built by Ancient Egyptians whose descendants are the BaTonga Bana Ba Tchundu. The entire region in Southern Africa, well most of it was their Kingdom since officially 200BCE and maybe even as far back as 36000BCE. Hope that makes sense. I explain it all in the video and 'Who Really Built Great Zimbabwe' - this invasion happened in 1838. Pharaoh is a corruption of the expression 'Palo' which means 'place where I rest' it was taken to mean 'Great House'. Rwanda means 'Our Great House'. 'Mayanda' means Great House.

Read William Cornwallis Harris that's where his foolery shines through, then Emil Holub's first hand account of how the Manansa-BaTonga were targeted and unalived by Mzilikazi. Nice one but next time try to avoid a bad choice of words like "lord of death" when describing characters of note in African history that's like demonizing our own story all over again, further more, these proto-bantu people sounds to me like the Nambya people and Chief Hwange who was said to have two hearts- one older and the other younger, the sources you supplied are all European accounts some what subject to scrutiny. How was Mzilikazi a Sotho person ?when we're told he came from the Khumalo clan, AmaNtungwa are not Sotho people neither do they speak Sotho but its possible that Mzilikazi had a fair command of the language through the Sothos who were amalgamated into the Ndebele nation but it doesnt mean that he was Sotho by birth

But if UMzilikazi is what you consider a hero and noteworthy then this explains why Africa struggles and why Eric Prince's Calvinist Mercenary Outfit would succeed at that imperialism goal he has planned. Mzilikazi was a sellout, possibly a hired mercenary of the London Missionary Society(they were Calvinists same as Eric Prince which is why you should pay attention). These were outsiders because no Southern Africans were dressed like, building homes and as militant as those hordes - the only other group that were exactly like this were the Galla. Calling UMzilikazi anything good is an insult to all the people he systematically unalived, abducted and the infants he left to be eaten by lions and hyenas. Those were our people, so you won't find any praise songs here. I believe African History has better loyal heroes and deserves better examples than these violent sellouts you keep propping up.

Your information is incorrect. 1stly, you're mispronouncing the name and therefore losing its meaning. His name was not Mzilikazi as the white people would say, which actually takes all meaning from it, but was Mzili'Gazi meaning fasting from blood. Which means blood letting wasn't his thing

It's actually an airy back throat sound, that isn't present in the English alphabet, so 'Ka' or 'Ga' which are the closet are used. 'Ka' and 'Ga' represent the same idea and have the same meaning which I stated in the video and is not the one you stated. I kept the 'Ka' sound to help people understand who I was talking about, you are right it leans closer to 'Ga' - but that doesn't change the meaning to what you say. He was still a Colonial Puppet, possible creation of the Cape Colonists, pure Evil (whose now tethered to the soul eaters in the Inyanga) and doesn't even deserve to have that moniker correctly pronounced - so I won't.
