The sin in our flesh makes us evil, and so we need to be born again. You too :) "If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!" Matt 7:11 "For I know that in me (that is, *in my flesh) nothing good dwells;* for to will is present with me, but how to perform what is good I do not find. For the good that I will to do, I do not do; but the evil I will not to do, that I practice." Rom 7:18-19 It is the ways of the world that overcome us but also our own sin that works in tandem with the ways of this world. The problem with me is indeed me. So we must be born again by believing on the Lord Jesus Christ, without whom we are DEAD and utterly without strength.

Spending more time in the word leads to a more intimate prayer, life, and less of a desire to sin. It’s not just a recipe to get closer to God but the sin that falls away as a result of this allows God to get closer to us thus setting us up to be used buy him.

In Genesis 1:26, who is God speaking to when he says, “Let *us* make man in *our* own image, after *our* likeness?” He is talking to the same being that is in John 1:1-3, and that being is Jesus Christ. It is explained in John 12:49-50 that Jesus speaks on behalf of the Father from the beginning to the end. After God gave Jesus life, which Jesus explains in John 5:26, God then put all power into his son's hands; this is why Jesus said “all things are delivered unto me from my Father” (Matthew 11:27). In John 8:28, Jesus tells us “when you have lifted up the Son of man, then shall you know that I am he and that I do *nothing of myself,* but as *the Father has taught me* I speak these things.” Jesus has the Father’s gift of life in him, for they are one (John 10:30).

Enoch died Read Hebrews chapter eleven - the faith chapter - and explain how Enoch is listed and the list is concluded with "THESE ALL DIED IN FAITH" Scripture does not say Enoch went to heaven either. It says ENOCH WAS NOT, GOD TOOK HIM. The same word is used of Rachel's children in Jer 31:15 and we should all agree they were slaughtered per Matthew 2:16-18.The 144ooo are the Holy Innocent boys slain by Herod and raised with Christ. With all of the lurking liars around us it is not difficult to see how the truth has been hidden. Understanding HOW Christ saved Israel births Jews and Gentiles alike and sets us free. The gospel has been hidden. 1 Cor 15:1-4 HOW He died, was buried and Rose the 3rd day according to the scriptures - Law and the Prophets. We are saved by His Work of Grace that Father sent Him to do through faith in the Good News of the Gospel which must include the resurrected dead saints (144ooo boys that slept) Understanding this gospel rebirths us and grafts us into His Body, THEM, the Church of the Firstborn in Heaven Heb 12:23 and frees us from heresy which Peter told us would cause us to deny Him. @@theeternalsbeliever1779 Adam lived over 900 years. Adam and Eve did not suffer immediate death upon tasting the forbidden fruit. Enoch and Elijah were taken to be with God without yet having tasted death. Their death is still in the future it appears. Bible doesn’t say how long one will live, just that all will one day face death- some sooner, some later. So I urge you to think about what the Bible actually is telling you, so that, like the Jews sinned by not recognizing the sign of the times when Jesus their Messiah came, you, too could be missing nuanced Truth in the Bible.

Enoch and Elijah are my favorite biblical characters. They both "walked with God" in his fiery chariot. The same fiery chariot that moses entered for 40 days to receive the 10 commandments. My god created the heavens and earth.... he doesn't need fiery chariots to fly around in. I believe they all entered fiery chariots and walked with someone not from this earth....but it wasn't the creator of the heavens. People still see and even get taken into "fiery chariots" every day.... but we call them Ufo's and uaps now. They've always been here and they obviously watch over us....but they aren't the Lord. Js
