Try using the heavy duty clear plastic over a white tarp. I am fairly sure you can get stronger than 4 mil within your area.

My favorite chicken is the rocks. I have some of the speckled ones plus 4 blue. Plus I also have wyandottes, Orpington, leghorn, and a Cochin. I just love my birds. Plus I have 4 turkeys. You have some real pretty birds. And here's a blast from my past witch will make you laugh. As a kid I was in charge of the chickens on our farm so my grandfather would go to the sell yard and if they had chickens he would get them for me. He drove a little Toyota car and everytime he would show up he would have his trunk full of chickens. No they weren't in cages. He would buy them and pop his truck lid just enough to through what he bought in and then bring them to me. He was a special grandpa. Sorry for going on but I just wanted to share. You all are so great. And I love the baby goats too.
