I like these types of focused videos, like the ones you did on party comp. They're a good mix up with the playthrough.

This is a pretty great comp. I love high damage one turn kill type teams. I usually prefer a third or fourth row crusader for the extra back row damage, but on a team without any reliable healing or mitigation options, definitely wiser to keep the jester in the 3rd row.

Killing an enemy first turn is so crucial. Especially high stress damage dealers.

warrens is kinda easy cause the map layout usually has shorter hallways. Your main concern is bleed, debuffs and more importantly, disease. swinetaur will be vulnerable if he is infront, so take advantage of moving corpse or clearing them same goes for the skiver. (bleed is very good too)

Agreed. Swinetaurs are pretty easily manipulated with pulling and corpse removal, and as you said watch out for those diseases!

Warrens is hardest just because of the skiver bs that can happen. yes, most of the time it can be managed, but one round of bad luck where he crits your entire back row and dodges your attacks and you're suddenly in some serious trouble.

At first, skivers are hard but their powerful attacks is only usable in the back. Yes, they are a bit difficult to focus on, but really, if you eliminate the other enemies faster, they'll be very vulnerable. If you can outspeed them or, bring trinkets that boost accuracy (or have some resistances against blight/cure), then you'll slowly get used to them in the long run. Remember that champion levels will offer their most nasty debuffs/affliction/damage/Status ailment so this is expected when you're going to a champion quest. (i thought the virago was harder)

@@009_Ghostly_Systematic I have never lost anyone to Virago and I've played DD for 2+ years. I find that to be a far more fair and manageable fight. The Skiver is stupid because so much more of it is RNG compared to other semi boss monsters. Will he dodge your attacks? Will he crit all 3 of your back characters? Plus, the Skiver is paired with more deadly enemies than the Virago. I can take many diverse parties into the Weald, Ruins, and Cove, but I find that, on champion level dungeons, there are VERY few parties I trust taking to the Warrens simply due to how BS the Skiver is. If you don't have the party to counter it, he can ruin everything in 1-2 turns.

Warrens is by far the hardest zone of the base game ones. The combo of slayers and skivers can just murder you, with spit to roast easily able to one shot people into death's door if it crits, and the slayers either stunning your healer or hitting people with those massive bleeds that also reduce all healing received. Those hookers also have really high crit chance and can do surprisingly high damage.

Really liked the party used, have never really gone for a mass stress relief team like this one. I'll be trying that out, though not necessarily in Warrens (experimenting with teams in Warrens scares me).

Yeah it is. I also could have gotten away with doing battlefield medicine over inspiring cry on the crusader. I needed just a little more heals near the end.

my new favorite team to run in the warrens is arbalest, ocultist, highwayman and bounty hunter. I'm finding a lot of great synergy with this team!

Any chance you can break down the individual zones like this? I.e Cript's. I.E cove... even Farmstead each zone going over the pro's and con's? I would find this very very helpful but it is a lot of work to find the footage to show what you want to illustrate.... Other then that was a fun guide and learned something too so win-win :)

Nice video as always. I like the offensive strategy of this party. I would do a couple of changes on the Crusader placing him on the third position with Holy Lance to get those backliners on the first turn, because you usualy don't use the stress heals at the start of the fight. Also, i would use the Battle Heal instead of Inspiring Cry, because you already have stress heals on the Jester and HM.

Giving it a second thought, the second position Jester can't use battle ballad, so it's not the best idea to use the holly lance crusader because without the extra ACC he will mostly fail to hit those evasive back liners.

I could have placed the hound master second and slowly worked the crusader up with holy Lance after a battle ballad from the 4th position. That's the fun thing, there is a lot this party could do depending on skills and roles.

Cool, offensive party! Love that crits by beast-mode abomonation :) Offtopic question, what's your best party against Countess, since riposte is no longer effective for her multitarget strikes? Bleeding, armor piercing?

Without cheesing the countess with MAA and refreshing their bolster ability, I have found that flagellants and shieldbreakers are really good. The countess moves in and out of high protection therefore raw damage is questionable about half the time. Also those characters have decent movement and row versatility options. The healer should be a vestal for those aoe or heavy attacks. I stay away from a heavy focused DOT strategy, since she can increase her resistances and also completely remove DOTs. You are really hoping for some nice criticals from the shield breakers and depend on some slow tick DOT when you get it with the Flagellant. I won with 4th position vestal, 2nd and 3rd position shield breaker, 1st position flagellant.

If you go to episode 45 in my current run, lots of people have compositions there. I'm not sure what you have, so some people may have a line up that works great for you.

@@HiDdeNSQuiDZGaming well I have plenty of occultists at least with lvl 6 resolve, raised 2 houndmasters, 2 vestals 2 crusaders, 2 men-at-arms only one bounty hunter a flaggelant, an abomination, one plague doctor, one jester and finally one or two arbalests. My highwaymen keep dying and none of them survives for long after hitting lvl 6...
