KZbin brought me to Nimesh Patel a week or two ago and then I came to this episode of his podcast, and it is so insightful of the Indian American perspective. I am of course in India, but have always been an American in spirit since I have been a teen (I am 66 now!) but am aware that my understanding has come from white folks who made all those movies and wrote all those books and sang all those songs that shaped my mind! I have, since been to the US a couple of times, and yes I found the whites racists and was told to be afraid of the blacks ! So now I have become a big critic of the US, but I still maintain that it remains the light on top of the hill 🤷‍♂

It isn't STEM. It has been STEAM for a long time. "A" being Art. The people implementing the program usually don't care about it. Also, the point was never to simply keep studying STEAM. That's just stupid. The program is supposed to give kids more exposure to said subjects that were lacking in previous generations. This leads to more people taking careers in those fields

About the Meta glasses, dude said he doesn't know what it is for, why it was created. There is a Netflix series call `Black Mirrror`, in one of the episodes the characters can increase/decrease eachother's social profile by giving each other points. This point based system is used in place of `credit`, lower points is seen as bad credit (life ruined) so to say. Not saying that is what them glasses are gonna end up being, but then again these Gen Z folks are fucked in the head - ya never know
