The biggest motivator imo on why envious people love to “dig up dirt” is because they want justification for why that person doesn’t deserve the thing, but THEY do. They also of course want all the perks without all the work. The second would probably be that they are putting too much stock into what are basically everyday people but operating in a public sphere, they’re assuming their infallible just bc the face-value looks pretty… our roles models shouldn’t be the people we have parasocial relationships with 😅 they’re as real to us as fictional characters in the grand scheme of things

56:00 I disagree with all of us being desensitized and being brainwashed on social media. I dont doubt that its an issue but Id like to think the people who are quick to pull out their phones and record are more of a minority and majority of people wouldn't react that way. Two things can still be true at once and while it is a small minority of people, it definitely is a growing minority which is a problem. Its making us more apathetic which is scary subhanallah
