I'm surprised the westbound SouthShore didn't stop at the station first before the eastbound, he was the superior train according to timetable rules.

I really cannot say as this was taken in Nov of '92 while visiting my folks. I know you are correct, but the dispatcher must have made the call? Had I been using my Amatuer Radio hand held I would have heard why. Dan
