@sausagedog21 Normally you want to castle as far away from the attack as possible. 7i is one square farther away from the attack than 7h, which can make a big difference in the endgame.

Well, I think white can just attack your bishop and, after you move it, he can remove the nailing on the silver in 3c by doing P-4d. White just gained space.
