This game is so famous, it was also used in an episode of the anime Ryuuou no Oshigoto!

@@scubadues The end of episode 6 and the start of episode 7. The anime didn't do it justice. It didn't show the silver-silver-bishop drop clearly.

I think in 18:02, even after a bishop block, it's a mate. Mating moves are: Lx8e, K9d, S*9e: 1. Kx9e, B*8f, K9d, S*9e; 2. Kx8e, S*8f; If not, please say, why it can't be a mate.

If you drop a silver king takes 9d, bishop drop 8f, king go back 9d, if silver drop then king takes lance, no mate.

guys how its a checkmate at 13:23, because black can run to 5g square and even with the silver drop at 4f he can take it and continue to run or take it with the horse

Mate in two. Promoted bishop takes knight on 5h, king has to run to 4f, silver drop 4e MATE.

I saw a lot of the K-6h line while I was watching. I thought it was odd that Habu took the pawn, because I was sure K-6h was winning. I'm glad I was right.
