I hope that people today will be able to appreciate what it meant for Frau Zenzi for whom her relationship with God was important was willing to be basically called a whore, an unmarried woman with a child. At that time, it would have been very shameful. She risked her life and threw away her good name for love of Charlotte. I am very glad that I was able to watch this interview. For those who have studied history carefully and for their whole lives, the political situation worldwide is very frightening. If her father kknew from the beginning, why, especially when the Gestapo talked to Charlottes mother, didn’t the three of t 11:04 leave Germany right then and keep the family together?? That’s the question I always have: WHY DID YOU STAY??? I’m surprised that her being pregnant is why they decided TO STAY in Germany. I would think that was an even BIGGER REASON TO GO! To the US or Israel where they wouldn’t be different. Why would she think her kids would be better off going to school with kids whose parents worked in the Camps or the Gestapo or any number of Nazi jobs. She couldn’t stand to look at her neighbors after the war yet decided to raise a family among the people who treated her like dirt. To me, that doesn’t make sense. But she’s done and continues doing good work and I am not going to judge her but I sure would like to talk to her about her reasoning.

Your analogy is false. Hamas committed genocide on Oct 7 and Israel has a sovereign right to protect its people. Hamas, an Iran proxy is “doing it” to the people of Gaza. If you start a war, there’s no guarantee you’ll win it. Therefore don’t attack your neighbours.
