Hi guys. We used to live in Hyden. It's a great town! Lot's to do. The therapeutic qualities of the salt pond is that it's amazing for skin conditions such as cirrhosis. It relieves the symptoms but also has healing qualities. The couple that dug it out, the late Denis Collins (ex VFL football player) and his wife Wave Rock Sheenagh Collins, planned to build a day spa there one day. The huts are Sheenagh's creation. They also built the resort there, the airport and the wild flower cafe and adjoining museum. Such a great place to explore. Have fun on your travels

Oh thanks so much for the insights. The huts and their butterfly designs are beautiful.

Yes I know Sheena she a beautiful person and Dennis was a true gentleman 😞very sad loss!! I worked on the CBH 1980 and married a Hyden gal ✌️

There's a nice little caravan park with a gramophone museum almost at Karlgarin, just west of Hyden. It's on a farm. Unfortunately, the gentleman who started the park and museum, has passed away. His family were carrying on his legacy. Hope your covid is short term. Stay safe. Get well soon. We enjoyed exploring this area with lots to see. Cheers.

thanks Bazz, we've reached the coast now but if we head back through that way will have to see if we can find it. We seem to be all recovered from the covid, thanks for watching and commenting.

Hi guys, thanks for showing us Hyden, it looks like an awesome place to explore. I loved the drone footage, some great scenery. The photo at the end of Mel in her dress in the salt lake was awesome. It could win a photo competition! 😊 Hope you've all fully recovered from the dreaded Covid 🤞 Stay safe, enjoy your travels. Catch you next week ❤

You may have answered this question before and, if so, I apologise in advance: how do you survive financially given you have been travelling for 3 years and your costs last year were $87,000?
@SvedosTrippin10 ай бұрын
Hi there, the short answer is mel works online and we use our savings to fill the gap. For more details on it all we have a video from about a month ago called "how do we afford travel Australia full time".
