(1)OEM BT connection, disable it.
(2)Check Settings in Android Screen:
A,Choose “Zlink” (factory setup).
B, Choose “Background connection” & “last mode”.
C, Bluetooth menu (clearance other BT connections)
D, Wi-Fi menu : clearance other connections.
(3)Check settings in Cellphone :
A, Wi-Fi set to “ON”
B, CarPlay - set to “ON”
C, Clear other useless BT connections.
(4)Don’t forget to hit “User CarPlay”
(5)Restart the Cellphone & Android screen.
(6)Rest the “WiFi, mobile & Bluetooth “
(7)Re-install the “Zlink app”
(8)Update the Zlink app
(9)Update the iOS version
If all try and not connect, you can upgrade the firmware for android car stereo.

I have a problem, in ZLNIK app i see only Mirroring option without CarPlay/AndroidAuto, whats wrong? This is my second unit, the first one had this function but in this one CarPlay AndroidAuto dissapiered, where can i find it in the app? Mirroring fuction works fine.

Android user here. Mine works just fine, but 80% of the times it gets stuck on connecting loop. I just need to disconnect and reconnect my device from the Bluetooth menu. Its very annoying, but at least it works.

Maybe your phone also connected to OEM Bluetooth? If yes , disable the original Bluetooth.

Hey man did you able to solve it? My zlink5 connects very nice with android auto. But when I recive a call it gets sticks and freezes. Zlink5 losts it's connection with android auto and I answer the call from normal head unit. After turning off the call android auto doesn't connect back or it stucks for a while even it can connect back. My only problem with zlink5 is on Android auto is having a call. Need help so badly...

When I trying to play music with carplay music is not playing smoothly and its taking 1sec pause sometime half sec pause . My Samsung connects to this android unit via zlink no problem, but when it does, it doesnt show the full width of the screen, it only shows in the centre of the screen and the side are blacked out. Is it because my phone is android and the head unit is android? How do i fix this?

That is the android auto app itself ( the BMW android screen is wide screen ( with 1920*720 resolution). It not compatible fully, CarPlay ( iPhone) is better in compatibility.

Hi, i tried everything but- the car head unit connecta to my phones hotspot -> I can see zlink as apple tv on my phone - I commect with my phone, it says connected but nothing happens on the sceeem of the head unit. I would like to par to the bluetooth of the Z link but I cant wee it anywhere - I just see the cars regular bluetooth, and it cant be turned off - its a separate app not in the settings (note, I named the cars legace bluetooth differently than the Zlink bluetooth is named - could this be the issue ? Is there a version of Zlink which can compensate for this ? ) I also tried the wire connection - doesent work at all, but I have an aftermarket cable - could that be the cause of the problem ?
