Jodeci, B2M... Music was beautiful. Hip Hop was too. I swear we were more united then. I never saw racism like I see today. Janet Jackson rhythm Nation music was trying to bring us together. Since Bob Dylan and Sam Cook maybe before... I hate that we see color. And whoever painted the first painting of Blond straight pimp curl white Jesus can KMA. 🎉🎉

5 months ago today since the love of my life passed away due to covid. He introduced and dedicated this song to me after we became official. I have the video of us listening to this song. He was an 80's lover to the core. He would have turned 40 on the 16th of this month. Yes I'm in tears as I write this. Great song and even better memories.

4 years ago i walked into a dive bar and this song started playing as the door closed behind me. Thought it was weird cuz i grew up listening to this stuff so i asked the dj why he was playing it here and now and he said some girl asked to hear it... i asked him to point out the girl to me and fast forward we are now married and we danced to this song at our wedding. Update: 4/16/2021 5 years ago today and still going strong! Wow!!! 6/20/24 and we're still happy as can be and listening to this song all the time!
