I own this amp and it powers my single 15” Skar SDR in a ported box. It pushes the sub pretty well. Considering buying the sub, amp and box all brand new together for just a little over $300 I can’t complain! I didn’t expect it to blow my ear drums so I’m more than happy with bang for the buck.

@stereomojo ty sir. Started out at $1/watt back then. They're mint, but I'd trade them in a flash for the right old school subs. The efficiencies swapped places, now amps are very efficient while the subs went down in efficiency.
@JasonWW20002 ай бұрын
@undernature2799 The swap in efficiencies looks like a perfectly normal, natural thing. Back in the day, people had very little power. So you had to make the subs with soft suspension to get them moving. Nowadays we have inexpensive high-powered amps so we can afford to beef up the subs so they can handle a lot of power and produce a lot of output.

For class D, yeah. Sometimes they will fool you and run a 60A fuse, but it might only pull 40 amps max. Some manufacturers are shady. I tested a very small Rockville amp with a 15A fuse and maxing it out it only drew 9.5A. I'm like, WTH? 😂
