I went to Yamasa language school in Okazaki in 2004! It's a beautiful city. Okazaki castle is really interesting, you should check it out next time you're there.

So sad I missed this. The Grandfather-in-law lived in Nagoya and my first introduction to him was him basically grabbing me and taking me on a quick tour around Oguchi (North side of Nagoya). One of the places was a give by at Inuyama castle and then a stop at Oguchi Castle Park. Absolutely love Nagoya and am so say that we only have the one grandparent there to visit now (other grandmother moved away to be closer to the FIL)

Darn! Sorry I missed you, I’ve been living in Okazaki for over 33 years. I first came to Okazaki in 1983 for 4 months.

@UFOBobTV Hi UFO Bob. It was luck that I caught his livestream when I did. It was midnight in Hawaii so usually I'd be asleep. I even texted Brandania to let her know that John was livestreaming. Lol. She was still up she sleeps late too. Hope you are doing well my friend.

@@onlyinjapanGO I"m living here since 2001. There is a bar in Higashi Okazaki called "Izakaya Ja Nai", the owner is a American guy named Craig. He also owns a brewery in Nishio. Since you are going to Nishio maybe is interesting.
