Higbee Thread with DIY 4 Axis CNC Lathe Acorn Six

Milling a blunt Higbee thread start with live tooling.
This kind of thread start is very fast and easy to screw, no chance of cross threading. Patented 1891 for fire hose couplings.

It is AW 7075 Aluminium, no problem with chip braking using high feed rates...
