Here is a video of a new design for a Pve base that we built on Ark Ascended (island map). This design is for the more advanced player as you will need plenty of materials and some grind!

Awesome build! You inspired me, and I built my own adaptation of this design today. I have greenhouses at both ends and mini row “houses” as bedrooms inside. The structure hangs out over the water with a polygonal deck with a borderless glass floor. I am planning to build a boat dock with an elevator up to the house and some rework and expansion of the walls surrounding the compound as well.

With there being so many greenhouse walls. How do you get the greenhouse effect on your plants with this build? I built it but no effect on official server.

@@bucsrule8480 I personally have mods on my server. Arkitect Structures and Arkomatic, which has terrariums instead of crop plots. I’m the builder and one of the resource gatherers in the group, I tend to leave the farming to someone better at it than me. When playing by myself, I survive on jerky lol

​@bucsrule8480 so you'll want your plots where there's only 1 window/door/wall/ceiling between it and the "sun" (say this because of Abb) and it should grant the full greenhouse effect!

Only downside to an elevator is the weight your carrying and the fact they dont fit right anywhere

Its bautiful my main concern is building it without cheats it'd be difficult to get the height needed for the upper structures. I'd also probably have it set up to access the generator without needing to risk being attacked so you can just walk off the deck instead of needing to go down then up a ladder.

Thats a really nice build! If you wanted to use industrial forges there is a mod called SMOL structures and it makes the indy forges a perfect size for these kinds of builds.

Could easily add stairs to the back pillars and could also add an elevator in the middle of the platform. would take away a little bit from the "float" look though

Nice work. But creating a supporting structure is not easy. Or you can't find Metal Sloped Wall in the database and Sloped Metal Wall can't be created with it. Also Metal Quarter Wall can't be found anywhere in the database, only Metal Wall. And the Power Generator can't supply energy through all the metal parts, it probably doesn't work. But otherwise nice, but for fun I would like to build it sometime.

No mods are used in this video. @6:48 I used a quarter ceiling. I would suggest that you check the video again. Hope this helps 👍

How do you rotate to get the snap point you want. Mine just cycles through 3 snap points and none of them are the one I need for the leg stands.

@@mauriciobat8743 Try the mod S+, walls are nearly uniform on both sides with different snap points. Plus you can disable foundation support, making expansion without foundations almost endless :)-

It can be adapted, I increase the height and width by 1 so I could get a dino gate in the front. But internal is more than enough of what is needed.
