So I already knew that the seat-backs came off (one wasn’t clicked down all the way when we lugged it in 2 years ago but then we clicked it down the rest of the way) What I didn’t realize was that it was a “pull away” deal to lift the tab, rather than a “push down” deal (thought that the release tab was beyond the lever, not directly ~at~ the lever) Glide’n’slide after that… glide across the living room carpet and kitchen tile; slide carefully down the steps into the basement 🧐 Perfect video by the way! Went right to the substance of the video… here’s what we got, here’s what you’re all wondering about, here’s where it is, here’s what ya do and there ya go

How do I change it from a 3 seater to a 2 seater
@IFWSaskatoon7 ай бұрын
Interesting dilemma. If I was to attempt this, I think I would try moving the two seat you want together on one side of the track. Mount them and see if they operate correctly. You would then need to cut off the track to match the end the pieces are on. I would not cut out the middle. I would also think you may need to drill through the track to put the small legs back on that are usually on the track. It could be a big job.

That is a tough one. If there are levellers on the bottom, you could try taking those off. Beyond that I am unsure what else to suggest as the framing would be what would have to be altered but…I don’t know how this would be able to be done.

Hi mate. Great video! I'm about to buy a 3 seater corner sofa-bed from a retired lady, and she doesn't know how I can take it out of her house. Neither do I. Would it have to be disassembled? I really want it and am going in blind lol. I've a funny feeling because of this, I'm not going to be able to buy it 😩 Any recommendations would be very helpful please. Thanks.
@IFWSaskatoon6 ай бұрын
If they got it in they must be able tog et it out. I would take the mattress out to make it easier to carry for starters. I suspect the sectional comes in at least two pieces. You will see a split on the foot kick portion on the bottom Which will tell you where it splits apart. How it splits I can’t tell you as there are many ways it could be connected. You will have to look at that in person. If you have a second set of hands it will definitely be easier.

@IFWSaskatoon Жыл бұрын
Some frame can allow for that. If it was a modular set, such as a reclining sectional, it may be simple. If not, you may have to take each seat off the track, cut the track down and redrill holes. It can be fussy business, but it may be possible!
